Sue Trombino

Sue Trombino

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Sue Trombino was born in Caracas, Venezuela and has had a vast exposure to world culture from having been raised in Central and South America, Africa and Europe. This diverse upbringing has given her a unique perspective on America and fostered an appreciation for the Judeo-Christian values upon which America was founded.

Sue holds many things dear about the United States of America, one of which is the armed services.  They are a great source of pride for her and her family as her father, mother, and brother all served this country with honor. Her dreams, passions, love of America, and love for the Lord are the driving force in all that she does.

Sue founded Women Impacting the Nation (W.I.N.) in the fall of 2005 because she felt called to make a difference. Her passion for empowering people with God’s truth and her strong love of America are the principles upon which W.I.N. is built.  They are the driving force behind Sue’s tireless commitment to make a difference. It is her passion to embolden every Christian and American to get involved in saving the moral compass of America. You will often hear Sue ask, “What does God say?”

Sue is a professional speaker at seminars, forums, conferences, rallies, and church events. She has been a Bible Study Fellowship leader and is a graduate of the Chuck Colson Centurion Program.

Loretta Amsdell

Loretta Amsdell

Loretta was born to working class parents in rural Pennsylvania. She was raised devoutly Catholic, with part of her early education being in parochial school and part in the public education system. She is married, a mother, and grandmother. As an adult, Loretta realized that faith was a lot more than religion. Around that same time, she became aware that living in this United States of America was truly a gift. The combination of finding faith and appreciating this country made connecting with Women Impacting the Nation a natural fit for her.

Loretta continues her pursuit of knowing and serving her Lord every day of her life, while doing what she can to support those who uphold the God-fearing values on which the United States of America were founded.

Debbie Healy

Debbie Healy

Debbie began with a career as a registered nurse. She spent 23 years in healthcare, serving 6 of those years in the USAFR Nursing Corps. Her healthcare experience included critical care nursing, health administration, and pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

Over the years, Debbie watched as her beloved America was transforming into a destructive, misled nation.  Determined to take action on behalf of faith, family and freedom, she began a second career during which she has dedicated the last 15 years of her life to government initiatives:  public policy, grassroots leadership roles, legislative employment, and managing political campaigns. Debbie spent 8 years with Americans for Prosperity on a national level as a Regional Director; she worked as a legislative aide during the 69th general assembly of the Colorado legislation; and most recently was hired as Assistant to the President at Family Research Council (FRC) where she spent 2 ½ years growing in faith.

During Debbie’s time at FRC, through coalition building, her path crossed many times with W.I.N.  Debbie admires the dedication of the entire W.I.N. team and their commitment to supporting Judeo-Christian values upon which our country is founded.  Debbie proudly STANDS with W.I.N.’s vision – When We Show Up, We Win!

Sara Tallbacka

Sara Tallbacka

Sara graduated from Ohio University with a degree in speech and hearing therapy, working with all ages of school children. She has worked for many years with mothers of newborns and spends many hours volunteering at her church.  Sara is a wife, a mother of two adult children, and a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren. She and her husband Jim, a retired dentist, have been married for more than 50 years.

For Sara, the most important things in life are her faith in God and Jesus Christ, her family, and her country. She sees W.I.N. as an organization that not only whole-heartedly supports those institutions but also diligently works to maintain traditional values.

Dorcas Hernandez

Dorcas Hernandez

Dorcas Hernandez is a driven entrepreneur and owner of D International Consulting Corporation. Her company specializes in organizing trips for business executives and government officials from Central and South America who are interested in expanding their operations into the United States. Her role involves fostering relationships between clients, American business figures, investors, and influential politicians like U.S. Senators and Representatives. Mrs. Hernandez also offers strategic advice to clients on entering the U.S. market and has orchestrated meetings with key players, such as connecting a client with the CEO of a major South Florida port for exporting food products.

Hernandez’s background is marked by resilience and leadership. Originally from La Oroya, Peru, she moved to Lima with her family at a young age, where her father was involved in the Evangelical Churches of Peru. During her upbringing, she faced multiple attacks by Communists, including a traumatic home invasion. Her exposure to a Socialist government’s impact on the Peruvian economy left a lasting impression, as she witnessed long queues for necessities and rationed utilities. Despite these challenges, she quickly developed exceptional language skills, becoming an interpreter for various visitors to Peru and eventually taking on responsibilities for planning international trips.

Mrs. Hernandez’s accomplishments extend beyond business. She was a driving force in rebuilding orphanages in Peru and played a significant role in a nationwide rally that drew 1.5 million participants in Lima and spurred legislative changes. She has also been dedicated to charity work, collaborating with retired Peruvian Air Force officers to provide aid to earthquake and hurricane victims. Having pursued education in business administration and marketing in Peru, she has continued her professional development in the United States. In 2019, she proudly became a U.S. citizen and, along with her husband, Lieutenant Ralph Hernandez, a devoted firefighter and paramedic, is raising two teenagers. Her life is a testament to her determination to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Debbie Faris

Debbie Faris

Debbie Faris, a naturalized American citizen originally from Panama and raised in Venezuela, possesses a strong background as an Industrial Engineer with an MBA in International Marketing. With diverse experience in various Fortune 500 companies, she has expertise in manufacturing, advertising, marketing, production, and sales. As a widow, Debbie unexpectedly became a sole parent to three boys. After witnessing the events of 2020 and drawing parallels to her experiences in Venezuela, she embarked on a mission to safeguard America’s future. Initially a citizen journalist on Facebook with her page “A Prayer for America,” she faced censorship and then began publishing as Praying Mantis on Substack. Her work, centered on election security issues and revealing potential threats to the country, reaches a wide audience across states and countries.

Debbie Faris’s involvement extends to significant advocacy efforts. She played a key role in crafting, editing, and refining the language of SB90, a comprehensive election bill passed in Florida under Governor DeSantis in April 2022. This bill, regarded as one of the most transparent and comprehensive in the country, emerged as a result of Defend Florida’s strategic efforts. Her continued leadership within this movement reflects her commitment to ensuring the integrity of elections. Additionally, Debbie is an essential part of the Hispanic communications team for Women Impacting the Nation, where she strives to educate on faith, family, and freedom issues aligned with Judeo-Christian values. She founded the “Call One Day” initiative, mobilizing volunteers to contact elected officials and bring attention to legislative matters.
